Here Comes Destructosaurus!
By Aaron Reynolds Reviewed by Talia (age 7) Have you ever read about a big dinosaur that breaks stuff but who is nice at the same time? If this sounds interesting, then this is the book for you. Here Comes Destructosaurus is about a dinosaur that destroys train stations, buildings, and “every ship in the harbor!” The problem is that every time he destroys something, he gets yelled at. This happens all the time. But then the narrator realizes he was not trying to break stuff, he was just trying to get something. Read the book to find out what Destructosaurus was trying to get. I like this book! One good thing about this book is the bold letters on the words the narrator screams at Destructosaurus. It shows how loud they scream at him! I also like the part when the baby looks out the window and sees Destructosaurus because it is funny when the baby and Destructosaurus look at each other. I also like the time when Destructosaurus stomps because he looks like a giant. There is a great lesson in the book. The lesson is to watch what you say until you know the whole situation. If you like books with dinosaurs and funny misunderstandings then this is the book for you.You should give it a try. I think you will like reading Here Comes Destructosaurus!
